Luigi

Luigi (ルイージ Ruīji?) is a video game character created by Japanese game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, and is portrayed as the younger brother of Nintendo's official mascot, Mario. Luigi first appeared in the arcade game Mario Bros., where he featured as a main character alongside Mario. Since his debut, Luigi has appeared in the majority of the Mario series games, usually as a playable character (in games with alternating game play he is the "player 2" character). Luigi has also starred in his own games. Over the years, Luigi has gained more and more popularity, with a huge cult following in the United States.
