Mater states that "that boy's nothin'," and that he used to wrestle trucks bigger than him. He then goes on to talk about his career as a monster truck wrestler. Mater starts in the low-class wrestling ring and is introduced by an off-screen announcer as "The Tormentor". As the crowd boos, Mater says to the announcer that his name is "Tow Mater." His first opponent is a monster ice cream truck called the I-Screamer. Mater first flees from the truck, but he reappears disguised as a kid wearing a propeller hat and tricks the I-Screamer into preparing one double-dip dipstick sundae.

(U.F.M.) Unidentified Flying Mater
At Luigi's Casa Della Tires, Guido tries to remove a hubcap from a customer's tire and ends up flinging it out of the window. It flies past Mater and Lightning McQueen, who are driving along Main Street. Mater immediately tells Lightning that it was a UFO and he knew because he'd seen one. Lightning says, "What?!", and Mater begins his story. On a crystal clear night (except for several storm clouds building up behind him), Mater is driving towards a level crossing when the lights start flashing. Mater is puzzled because he can't see any trains coming, but when he looks to his left, he sees a glowing blue buck-toothed UFO staring at him. He jumps back in fright and starts quivering when the UFO smiles at him. Mater then introduces himself and the UFO introduces himself as Mator. Mater then takes him to his "liters": a pile of oil cans. Whilst drinking, Mater teaches Mator to say, "dad-gum" and also teaches him to tip tractors and drive backwards. Mator also teaches Mater how to fly, which startles Fillmore. As they start flying around Willy's Butte, spotlights surround them and Mator is captured. Mater follows them and realizes that his new friend has been captured by the military forces.

El Materdor

El Materdor
El Materdor is the third episode in the Cars Toons series. Lightning McQueen and Mater drive by a herd of bulldozers near Radiator Springs. Mater tells Lightning that they are just like the ones he used to fight. The film then goes to Spain in a stadium full of fans. A Bulldozer named Chuy enters the stadium and fights Mater. Mater holds a red cloth on his hook and Chuy chases it. Every time the bulldozer misses Mater, Mater and the crowd say, "Olé!". The bulldozer gets ready to charge at Mater. Mater taunts the bulldozer and it charges. Mater spins around and the bulldozer falls over. As Mater turns to face the crowd, the bulldozer charges again at Mater, this time, bulldozing Mater into the ground. The red cloth falls onto the pile of dirt that Mater is under and a bell tolls. It appears Mater has been killed. Suddenly, Mater emerges from the dirt.

Mater the Greater

Mater the Greater
Mater the Greater is the second episode in the Cars Toons series. At Flo's V8 Cafe, Lightning McQueen, Flo, and other townsfolk from Radiator Springs are settling down to a sip of oil when Mater does a jump and hits some cans. Matertells Lightning how he used to be a daredevil, akin to Evel Knievel. The film then goes to a dirt stadium, which is set up complete with the Lightyear Blimp hovering over the stadium.Mater the Greater enters the stadium and gets ready for his first stunt, jumping a long line of cars. Mia and Tia are also there and look a lot like Mater complete with fake buckteeth. Buck the Tooth Vendor (made to look like Brian) sells two buckteeth for 1 buck. Mater then gets ready to jump. He backs up so much, he hits the wall behind him. Then, he zooms toward the ramp. But just before he's about to jump, he lands on the first car and drives across them and at the end, jumps over the other ramp. Mater does a whole bunch of stunts: is shot from a cannon through a ring of fire (his hook catches on the ring and burns him).
